Wednesday December 18, 2009 was an eventful day at TC. For the first time ever, the Health Office was transformed into a flu clinic. We were able to vaccinate every student who requested it against the H1N1 influenza virus: approximately one-third of our student body.
Many thanks to all who contributed to this demonstration of our school’s commitment to the health and wellness of our students. A special shout out to our parents and guardians who volunteered that day: Yunping Li, Kristin Roper, Margali Oreste, Lee Wesley and Tom Noonan. We also wish to thank the Newton Health Department for supplies and consultation.
